We respect your privacy, and we understand that the information you share with us in order to obtain insurance is personal and sensitive.

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

To quote, place, and service insurance, we collect information you give us directly — through our online quoting form, by phone, by email, in person, or on insurance applications. Depending on the type of coverage, this may include:

  • Identifying information such as your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and date of birth.
  • Personal and household details such as marital status, household members, and occupation.
  • Auto and property information such as vehicle make, model, and VIN; driver's license number; driving history; property address, age, construction, and prior claims history.
  • Business information, for commercial coverage, such as entity name, industry, revenue, payroll, and operations details.
  • Financial information such as payment and billing details, and, where a carrier requires it, your Social Security number for identity verification and insurance scoring.
  • Health information, where relevant to life insurance underwriting, such as age, tobacco use, medical history, and information you provide on a life insurance application.

Information we receive from others

In the course of quoting and underwriting, we and the insurance carriers we work with may obtain information about you from consumer reporting agencies and insurance support organizations. This can include motor vehicle records, claims history reports, credit-based insurance scores, and property inspection reports, in each case as permitted by law.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide insurance services to you and as permitted or required by law, including with:

  • Insurance carriers, wholesalers, and general agents, in order to obtain quotes and place and service your coverage;
  • Premium finance companies and payment processors, where you elect to use them;
